Eunice lived on Atwell Mountain her entire life. She was a loving, caring, fun, witty matriarch in this family. She worked hard all of her life. She walked the mountain for pleasure and to do chores. She always had a poem, story, song or dance to share with the children. She got up each day at the crack of dawn to start breakfast – in her younger years she cooked on a wood cook stove so  her day started by lighting a fire in the stove then getting the food ready to cook – oh the biscuits that came from that stove! Eunice never complained about hard work – by the smile on her face and her praise to God for everything she had, no one would have known the labor of her days.

Eunice Ilene Pruett married Lemuel George.
