Ida was an avid crochet artist – she crocheted many intricate pieces with words and pictures. She loved crosswords and word games and was competitive with them. She always carried a smile and a positive attitude and had love to go around to all she came in contact with. It is told she was a pretty spoiled child in this large family – partly because she was the child born after the death of Gloria and partly because she was the baby for 5 years. Her husband Paul was a preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
