I am related to the Addair, Lowery, Bishop, and Deskins families, all from the McDowell County, West Virginia area. These are my main lines of family; however, I am related to much more than just these family lines. There is Elswicks, Rowes, etc. My dad Eugene Addair was the son of William Hayes Addair and the grandson of James Addair, and the great-grandson of Moses Addair. I am very excited to have joined this group.

I am an avid family genealogist who started doing this in 1990, and I am always thrilled to meet family and learn of new things pertaining to that family line. I am the oldest granddaughter of Troy and Delta Rose. (My parents are Bill and Arlene Scott.) I loved them so very very much. I am definitely my Grandmas girl. She told me often that I was like her  and I am very proud of that!!! One thing about Grandma Delta is she loved each and every one of her kids and grandkids and we all knew it. I am so very grateful for my Grandma, one thing I remember most about her was her laugh. Sometimes we would be on the phone and honestly we would laugh until we didn’t even remember what was funny and we would laugh even more!! She loved to tell jokes and be happy. I miss her every single day but have the great joy of knowing we will be together again someday.
